The top is violet leaves; that's where you get the freshness, the coldness of the violet leaf that stays until the end. All of this is made with natural ingredients. Vetiver is like pencil lead; it stays until the end. And cade oil, an ingredient that I discovered in India, derived from the wood of plants in arid environments in Morocco or Somalia, also stays. It's very soft, special and masculine.

Portrayal was created as a modern oriental scent of major contrasts, of bitterness against sweetness, of sternness against sensuality. As with most neologisms, the name Portrayal is formed from a series of opposites--of conflict and resolution, of light and dark.
